COVID-19 | Clean Stay
Commitment to a safe service with "Clean & Safe" and "Safe Travels" stamps
Our priority in ensuring the health and safety of our customers, team members and business partners has faced unprecedented challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also imposed a "new normal" on all of us.
Over the past few weeks we have worked on the thorough analysis of the hotel's operation to redesign the respective protocols in line with this new reality. The hygiene and safety plan, already demanding, saw cleaning being taken to another level - disinfection - with particular attention to areas and surfaces in common use. The training and awareness of the team also plays a central role, along with the mandatory use of appropriate protective equipment.
We called our protocol "Clean Stay" because "Clean" is nowadays and more than ever, the most important word in the tourism industry. We know that this is what you are looking for when you visit us: an experience with peace and spirit, where you can relax and enjoy the much-desired post-Covid moments. After all, what are the new procedures?
Our "Clean Stay" complies with the guidelines of DGS - General Directorate of Health, WHO - World Health Organization, and also complies with the requirements for obtaining the "Clean & Safe" stamps from Turismo de Portugal and "Safe Travels" from WTTC - World Tourism Travel Council.

Launched by Turismo de Portugal on April 24, 2020, this seal recognizes companies in the Tourism sector that comply with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Health to avoid contamination of spaces with SARS-CoV-2 (new coronavirus). This measure makes companies aware of the procedures to be adopted, encouraging the recovery of the tourism sector at national and international levels, thus reinforcing everyone's confidence in the destination of Portugal and its tourist offer.
The "Clean & Safe" establishment assumes full compliance with the set of requirements, including compliance with the guidelines of the General Health Directorate and the provision of information to customers.
This stamp allows travelers to identify destinations and companies around the world that have adopted standardized global health and hygiene protocols to provide 'Safe Travel'. Companies such as hotels, restaurants, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, restaurants, transportation and airports can use the stamp once the protocols described by the WTTC are implemented.
More than 700 companies have already signed up for the "Safe Travels" label, including some of the world's leading tourism groups. Ensuring the safety and hygiene of travelers is a top global priority.
