Adega dos Frades restaurant honours one of the most important rooms in the cloister D. João I, a noble space in Batalha Monastery, with an enormous barrel vault that was used as a wine cellar and fruit storage.
With plenty of natural light, spacious and an unmatched comfort, is a place for excellence where you can find: tradition and gastronomy, wine and hospitality, local and regional products and excellent service.
Adega dos Frades Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests and non-residents seeking a family dinner, a business lunch, a romantic or any celebration, offering comfort and a unique ambiance. A personalized service makes room for great memories.
Our service china, glasses and cutlery is the Vista Alegre, therefore we prefer the quality of Portuguese products.

O Claustro Bar
The Claustro Bar of Villa Batalha Hotel is located near the reception and Spa.
The Cloister Royal or the D. John I, is one of two cloisters of the Monastery of Batalha. It originally Gothic building and only has one floor, as was customary at that time, which makes the cover also serves as terraces that run through all the galleries.
It is a spacious and bright area where you can enjoy a light meal, drink juice made from local products such as pears, read a book, newspapers or magazines, listen to music, watch TV or play traditional board games.
